Learn how to cut your own mats for framing your artwork. It is much easier than you think! This is an excellent way to save money on framing. In this class, students will learn how to cut their own single and double mats, as well as mats with multiple openings. Learning to cut your own mats allows you to use standard-sized frames (less expensive) and customize them to fit your artwork using custom-cut mats. Professional-looking framed art for a quarter of the cost of custom framing. This class is a necessity for any artist or art enthusiast. All supplies are provided along with multiple instructional handouts. This 1-day workshop is 4 hours (10-2). Small class size allows for a lot of one-on-one instruction. We will stop for 30 minutes to eat lunch - bring your own. Microwave and Refrigerator on site.
