Service Description

In this course, students will explore various types of looms. Floor looms, multi-shaft table looms, rigid heddle, large frame, triangle, and inkle. If you have been wanting to learn more about weaving beyond lap looms, this class is for you. We will learn about each type of loom. Students will create one finished piece on a loom of their choice. You do not have to be a weaving expert to join. Some basic knowledge of introductory techniques is all you need to join this class. This class includes 2 hours each week of class time, as well as an additional optional 2 hours each week of open studio working time (multiple times available for open studio). No previous experience with these types of looms is needed. All supplies are included in the course fee.
