Service Description

Silk painting is a fun, stress-free form of art. No drawing skills or painting experience required. Painting on silk and other fabrics is similar to watercolor painting. Colors spread and blend in a free-form fashion. We will learn how to work with the flowing nature of the material, as well as how to control the spread to create beautiful art. Students will learn introductory methods of painting on silks and other fabrics with various dyes and paints. During this 4-week session, students will create 2 finished pieces as well as a technique exploration piece. Silk Painting supply kit includes silk and other materials/items. All other supplies are provided.
